Setting up and customizing charts in MultiCharts is a key aspect of leveraging the platform's powerful analytical tools.
How to customize a chart window
- Right-click on the chart and select Format Window.
- Select the Background tab to customize colors, grid and session break appearance.
- Select the Appearance tab to set up subchart dividers, title bar and scroll bar.
- Select the Y - Price Scale and X - Time Scale tabs to customize the price and time axes.
- Select the Status Line tab to configure status line fields and style.
How to change the chart settings
- Right-click on the chart and select Format Instrument.
- Select the Instrument tab to change data source and symbol.
- Select the Settings tab to configure resolution, quote field, session, time zone and data range.
- Select the Style tab to change the chart type and style.
- Select the Scaling tab to set up scaling, margins, scale labels, range and type.
