I am looking to start running live on AWS EC2 instance types. For those already running in AWS, what instance type have you found works best at the best price?
It looks like the highest compute/ghz models are the C5 series and the Z series would offer best performance:

I see that your post was a couple of years ago. May I ask what type of AWS EC2 instance you have decided on? Or which one is best? I'm facing the same decision right now.
