Dear Users,
Please note that due to recent updates in the latest IB TWS version – Build 10.30.1d, Jun 27, 2024 – Interactive Brokers continuous contracts are currently not processed correctly.
If your setup relies on continuous contracts, we recommend refraining from updating your IB software until the case is resolved.
We are actively working on it to ensure seamless functionality. Thank you for your understanding.

Currently, we don't have a specific ETA, but we are actively collaborating with the IB team to resolve this. Thanks Kate ...... Is there any ETA on this issue as I'm sure most IB users will have automatic workstation upgrades enabled ?
Thanks in advance

Kate, I have been having connectivity issues with IB Gateway where MC disconnects and does not reconnect, but the IB Gateway is connected. Are these issues related, or a separate?
Hello,
As far as we know, it shouldn't be related.
Please send us a Feedback report when it occurs.
It has worked fine with mc 15 and the latest IB Gateway, also IB Gateway earlier version. Updated MC 15, now no IB Gateway works.
Only shows: "Establishing connection"
The bug seems to be on MC.
Update:
Only using regular futures that stopped working after updated MC Version: 15.0.26624.
Got MC working with IB Gateway 10.28.
Version 10.29 and 10.30 do not work (but worked with previous version of MC 15)

By "It has worked fine with mc 15", do you mean that continuous and front-months contracts were loading correctly in MultiCharts 15 Release 1?It has worked fine with mc 15 and the latest IB Gateway, also IB Gateway earlier version. Updated MC 15, now no IB Gateway works.

No, it's regular futures (imports data from previous month, when it's a new futures)

Is this subject even understood at MC ??With TWS Workstation continuous futures are still not working with IB!!
I start to notice that this subject is avoided, but may not know about explicit threads about this.
I myself have more than extensively sent reports (FeedBacks) about this, and received ZERO ANSWER to any of if. Any means :
1. Send a Feedback about it.
2. Ask per email "what about this ?"
3. Ask per Chat "what about this ?"
4. Ask again extensively to a person mentioned in the chat to address at MC.
5. Ask once more "what about this ?"
6. Possibly added some email with a "?" only.
The subject is just avoided.
And regarding the quoted text above, it apparently was brought up before ?
Please notice that I refrained of creating a thread for it myself (6 emails or so should be sufficient).
Btw, for me this is about IBKR indeed, in combination with IQFeed - might this matter. It is also related to Trade, Ask seemingly being fine, but Bid making a mess of it. Just for the recognition ...

This thread is about Interactive Brokers continuous data. This issue is unrelated to other data providers.
As outlined in the initial post of this thread, we are actively investigating the issue with IB continuous contracts in collaboration with the Interactive Brokers team.
This problem is specific to the latest versions of the IB software and does not occur with the stable version.

Hello janus,
The adjustments were added to the Update Patch for MultiCharts 15.0 Build 26742 Release 3.
If you have an older version, the Update Patch will not install the fix.
Also please note that the fix is already included in the latest version we have released recently - MultiCharts 15.0 Build 26881 Release 4. You can download the latest release from our Download page.
To install the update, please close MC and make sure no processes are left in the Task Manager. Then run the installer once it's downloaded. There is no need to delete the previous version.

Hi Daberto. I did have a similar problem but was informed that the first download takes approx 15 mins with the current patch fix, and subsequent downloads are very quick. I’m not sure the reason why, but you might want to try this as a starting point. Cheers.

Daberto,
Yes, due to recent changes in the IB API, the response time has slowed. The initial data loading process should now take approximately 15 minutes.
If the data does load within 15 minutes, it will be saved to the local database. The next time you open the same chart, it will load from the database instead of IB, resulting in a much faster process.
