MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting

I am fairly new to MC and have been live testing some strategies .
I restarted my computer and multicharts to find that there is nothing in the strategy performance reports on the charts that i have tested.

Did I lose all of that live testing data ?

I am a NT user and I am used to being able to view either real time results or historical backtesting results on strategies.

Do you lose all of the live testing results when you restart ?

I think you can find all the live trade data in the order and position tracker. (under the view menu you can select this).

You can also make an export of this to excel by right click mouse when you are standing with the mousepointer on the trades (in the orders tab). You can then make an export every time at the end of the day.

Hello Shane,

"Strategy Performance Report" reflects backtesting performance only.
If you need to check the performance activity for the orders that were actually sent to the broker you need to use "Trading Performance Report". The orders should be plotted on the chart (data range when the orders were placed should be plotted on the chart) and present in Order and Position tracker Orders tab.
