Can I just use PowerLanguage in MC .Net

Hey Guys,

It's taking way too long to implement what I need to do in PowerLanguage .Net. Due to my schedule constraints, I've decided to just throw in the towel and use straight PowerLanguage.

1.Can I just code my stuff in PowerLanguage even though I've installed/using Multicharts .Net?
2.If I can code in straight PowerLanguage, where is the PowerLanguage editor in the MultiCharts .Net?

Note that I've a 30 day trial license (doing this as a project for a trader) and have spent way too much time trying to make sense of the .Net code (BTW I develop in c# for a hedge fund, so it's not a question of lack of C# skills, more of a 'geez, you guys REALLY NEED to document this stuff'). If I have to redownload MultiCharts I'm concerned I'll have issues per the trial version etc.

Well any help appreciated. MultiCharts .Net is clearly powerful, just taking way too long to understand it right now.

Hello davidib,

With MultiCharts .Net you can create a study using C# or VisualBasic.Net only.
With MultiCharts you can create a study using EasyLanguage/PowerLanguage only.
Studies from MC .Net cannot be used in regular MultiCharts and viсe versa.
