Hello abc999,

You need to install version 10.6 of the eSignal application. You may also install version 11 of the eSignal application, but version 10.6 should be present to ensure that MultiCharts continues to operate properly.

I have found a bug in 10.6 which will give an incorrect Open Auction price in HKEX market. Is it possible to use 11 with multichart only?

Hello abc999,

You can use eSignal 11.6. As I can see the latest version now contains Data Manager, that means it is possible to feed eSignal data into MultiCharts. Though eSignal support recommended to use ver 10.6 as "it works better at the moment".
I would also recommend you to install the eSignal wrong opening price fix for MultiCharts 8.5 from this post.

I have installed both esignal 10.6 32 bit and 11 64bit in my system. How do I control which version of esignal data manger to be started when I start multichart?

Hello abc999,

MultiCharts calls eSignal Data Manager from WinRos.ini file (on Win 7 x64 bit system MC first checks for it in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\ if it is not found then in C:\Windows\).
In WinRos.ini file "StartPath=" specifies the location of Data Manager to be started by MultiCharts.

In order to start eSignal 10.6 data manager on Win 7 x64 bit system change the line in WinRos.ini file to
StartPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\eSignal
In order to start eSignal 11 data manager on Win 7 x64 bit system change the line in WinRos.ini file to
StartPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Interactive Data\DM

If you already have eSignal Data Manager running then MultiCharts will connect to it, instead of starting a new one.
