MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting

I've noticed that GlobalVariable.dll is supplied with MC (beta version) , what are the differences between the one download able from TS forums and the one supplied with MC?

I've noticed for one thing, the the string functions are missing and that the implementation of the DLL is different from the TS one...

GlobalVariable.dll is used by one of the add-on studies and I believe it is the same dll you can download from TS forum except the release date i.e. MultiCharts version can be older.

I am currently running the TS globalvariables with MC and it seems to work fine.
