Install Beta1 now, it's easy to upgrade to the new version when it comes. The installer asks you if you want to delete the old version, just delete it and start the installer again to install the new version.I would also like to know that.
I want to decide if I wait for Beta 2 or install Beta 1 now.
Just compress or expand the bar spacing 1 click for now-I just wish the dancing chart bug is fixed in the coming release.
It should be released this week. We apologize for the delay.Hi,

The dancing chart will not be fixed - we have no idea how to replicate it.I just wish the dancing chart bug is fixed in the coming release.
Could you make screenshot of before/after?Just compress or expand the bar spacing 1 click for now-I just wish the dancing chart bug is fixed in the coming release.
I hope they fit it soon too.
If the chart is "dancing" (jerking left and right) increasing or decreasing the bar spacing will stop it. It's like the chart goes into oscillation.Could you make screenshot of before/after?Just compress or expand the bar spacing 1 click for now-I just wish the dancing chart bug is fixed in the coming release.

I don't know about dancing charts, but i have seen dancing indicators. This problem seems to occur when indicators scaled to screen bump up against the top or bottom sides of the indicator sub window during bar creation. When this happens the indicator and indicator scale jumps up/down until the bar completes. I usually resolve this problem with a user defined scale for the indicator. For example stochastics have a range between 0 and 100. If you don't define a scale they auto adjust as new bars are created/printed and may cause the dancing indicator problem. As another example, I've seen macd scales change from 2 to 6 decimal places causing the entire window to jump. This is really annoying and can only be resolved by fixing the macd scale. The dancing chart will not be fixed - we have no idea how to replicate it.I just wish the dancing chart bug is fixed in the coming release.
is there an easy way to blanket define all var to 2 sig digits?Geoff is correct. The number of significant digits changes for the output of the display on each tick. When the "Y" axis is set to auto it tries to compensate in real time every tick. I have tried to use a rounding function on some of my outputs, but sometimes, for reasons unknown, I notice the "Y" axis go from 2 sig digits to several and then back to 2 again every other tick until the bar ends. I find it very exciting, especially when I am sleepy.
Hope that helps,

I have asked for a "real" manual Y-axis before... for another reason.Andrew,
It is possible to work around the problem by setting the Y-price scale to manual. When it is automatic it sometimes switches/alternates between 2 values as each tick comes through causing the size of the right margin to change. Then when the next bar is created it goes back to normal. I don't think it would be possible to take screen shots to demonstrate this as it is a motion effect.

Geoff
