Hello folks,

I would like to ask if there is available any EL code, for auto drawing "rectangle" chart patterns..?

I am looking for a code which could automatically detect rectangle consolidations...

Thanks!!

There is no code available to draw a rectangle. I did post a similar request few years ago

There is a way to simulate a rectangle by drawing vertical and horizontal trendline. I know that there is a tutorial somewhere on the net that was created for TS.

Hope MC will came out someday with rectangle function code.

He is not just asking to draw rectangles.

He is looking for codes that can recognize a rectangle chart pattern for trading purposes.

Thanks for the clarification TJ.
The request that I had made to MC was including it to.
With Trendline, we could draw & detect crossing. I would like to have the same with rectangle.

Yes, true. Thank you TJ.

As there are many auto-drawng coded solutions for trendlines, harmonic patterns etc., I was interested to look at some already done works, focused on the rectangle/box congestions, so I could attempt to get some inspiration/idea for my own code.. :)
