Change directories not from "preferences panel" but from registry editor
Posted: Jul 19 2019
Hi,
I've a problem. One of my SSD in not accessible anymore for some hardware problem. That SSD was the one specified form the preferences panel for the DATABASE location , Study location, cache location etc....
I've a perfect backup copy of that folder to replace it, but I can't run Multicharts because the program search for that drive (drive D:) that is not present anymore.
I've a copy of that drive in drive C: but I don't know how to modify the preferences of the directories at the startup of the program because the program try to start whithout success because of it is in search mode for drive D:
The question is, is there a way to change the preferences directory not from Multicharts program but from windows registry editor ?
thanks
