MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting

To whom it may concern:

I currently have DTN IQ Feed client version 6.1.0.20 installed on workstations as well as MultiCharts.NET 12.0.20094 & 14.0.19286 Beta. Both versions continually ask to install IQ Feed Client V5.1.1.1 even if the IQ feed is already connected. Please what can be done to correct this?

To whome it may concern,

I have DTN IQ Feed, and the latest version of Multicharts.

Now when i download data (ES Emini futures), it only give me like about 12 months of data, not even that.
whereas In the chart settings im requesting about 20 years.

In other software i use IQFeed with, i can see years of data, so i know its not an IQFeed problem.

How do i get this fixed? Why is MC limiting the amount of data on the chart?

It depend if you request 1 min trade data or if you request the Bid / ask data

There is only 6 months Tick data are . Bid / Ask are from tic data

There is much more Trade Data , I opened chart with trade data this morning, I got data from 2005 til now (4529 bars of 1440 min) @ES#C

Did you request @ES#C ? or @ES ?

With IQ feed, you may request more data if it is not during market hours.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH DTN NO HISTORY

Hello Mark,

IQFeed has the following limitations:

Tick - 8 days during the session hours, 180 days during the non-session hours
Minute - 11 years
Day - (@ES# ~13 years), (INDU.X since 1928)


Please make sure that you have disabled the option to "Build minute and daily bars based on tick data" in QuoateManager -> Tools -> Data Sources -> IQFeed.
