WHAT CAN'T ONE UPLOAD A PLA FILE?

I fail to understand why do I repeatedly fail to attach .pla file on TS SUPPORT when at least one outside forum -- kreslik.com -- allows such attachments?

Hi Khalid,

This forum only allows certain extension types in attachments. Just zip the .pla file and you'll be able to post it here.

This forum is a product developed by a 3rd party, we do not have control over its features.

Regards.

Marina, why not to allow one more file extention and ask the developer to make a minor change :-)

just rename the file to .txt before upload.

then tell people to rename it again to .pla after download.

it is not an elegant solution, but knowing the limitations of a 3rd party involvement, might as well spend the energy on something productive...
;-)

or, simply post the code with the code box like below:

Code: Select all

You can paste your code here.

simply press the code button on the top of the reply box.
after you have done so, press the code button again to close the box.

THANK YOU

Hi Everybody,

I am beholden to everybody who have so graciously offered the various solutions.

I am not dumb. And I know a thing or two about file extensions; I purchased my first computer in 1985 and my first modem a few months later and for the last 23 years my computer(s) have been talking and exchanging files with other computers.

In addition to the solutions offered, I also know PowerLanguage is .xml compatible and .xml is a TS SUPPORT Allowed Extension.

Except for Tresor, all have missed my point:

One couldn't attach .pla on kreslik.com; then one day I read a post by a member called Tresor requesting kreslik.com to allow .pla extensions AND WITHIN 24 HOURS .pla WAS MADE AN ALLOWED EXTENSION!!!!

I rest my case.

Khalid

Please forgive me for reopening my argument.

I found this at the botton of http://forum.tssupport.com web page:
Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2002 phpBB Group

And I found this at the bottom of http://kreslik.com/forums web page:
Powered by phpBB2 Plus, phpBB Styles and Kostenloses Forum based on phpBB © 2001/6 phpBB Group :: FI Theme :: Mods and Credits

Now I finally rest my case.

Thank you.
