MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting

Hi,
will marketposition reference only the strategy within which it is written, or will it check market position across all strategies running on the same symbol? For example, if i have "and marketposition <> 1" as a filter in one strategy which is flat, will new orders on that strategy be supressed if other strats on the same symbol are already long?

marketposition
MarketPosition_at_Broker
MarketPosition_at_Broker_for_The_Strategy
marketposition_checked

But your main question is valid.. If op has one long trade on es-- and he has another signal that is showing a sell signal for es.. Can he have both trades open or will the short auto close the long?
