Problem importing an .eld bought from EMini-Watch

Hi All,

I bought the Better Momentum indicator from Emini-Watch for TS.
The file you obtain is an .eld.

However I cannot get it imported in Multicharts.

I tried the following:

Import: Power Editor 'reads' the file but thos not show any importable material (see attached picture 'import')

Import Read-only: does not "see" the.eld file

Rename the .eld file to .sef and try Import Read-only. This does not work (error box in attached file .sef rename error)

Has anyone else encountered this problem? :( :(

I tried these things using PowerEditor from MC versions 5.5 and 5.0.
I had no problem importing a free indicator from the site (Better Volume indocator).

Thanks for your replies

because the protected eld is for TS only.
it cannot be opened by MultiCharts.

You can ask Emini-Watch to see if they have a MultiCharts version,
or
you can ask MultiCharts technical support to see if they can convert it for you.

TJ,

Thanks for your reply.
I already suggested to E-mini Watch to compile the indicator with a multicharts trial version. (Even promised to put in praise for their work among the MC community  )

I am awaiting their response now.

I like the suggestion to ask TSSuport to recompile it, but am afraid there may be legal issues there.

(Maybe Andrew Kirillov) has some ideas as well.

A short update:

Barry from Emini-watch helped me in a prompt and kind matter by recompiling the .eld for Multicharts.

I got to know the site from a post by TJ.
It's definitely worth checking out: www.emini-watch.com

That's definitely good customer service.

I am glad it worked out.
