MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting

In a strange phenomenom that becomes more pronounced as indicators become longer, the Power Language editor seems to take a noticeable period of time to add or remove comment braces (i.e. { or } ). There is no comparable lag for any other component. It is as if Power Language were trying to parse these on the fly. Is there any way to suppress this parsing until I hit F8 to reparse the text so that edits that involve comment braces can occur more smoothly?

We'll add a feature to the editor - make syntax highlighting optional.

In this way (probably in the next build) it will be possible to prevent the editor from slowing down on any items in the code
