Can you place simulated orders while using data playback similar to how this forex backtesting game / program works in this video?

Thanks,

I think we can do most of what that backtester program does with Multicharts data playback.

I just don't know about the orders part.

Writing orders down on paper is one way, but simulating would be nice.

In particular it would be nice to be able to place data replay orders with any historical data, including imported ascii data.

I'd tell Alex in the youtube video to make a video with Multicharts. He'd be blown away.

If it is not possible, please consider adding it to the feature request list.

Thanks.

I must say that this would indeed be a valuable tool to be able to train one's trading capabilities over a wide range of markets without having to wait for markets to open. I keep track of positions manually, but if MC could somehow be fooled into believing that the trades are being put into a dummy broker, you'd be there.

I would welcome such capability.

Cheers
