To connect MultiCharts to BitMEX, it is necessary to receive an API Key at their website.

Depth-of-Market data is available.

To set up BitMEX data feed connection:

  1. In the QuoteManager main menu select ToolsData Sources→ select BitMEX and click the Settings button.
  2. In the Connectivity section:
    • Enter your API key and Secret key. They key can be received at https://www.bitmex.com/ after registration.
    • Check Use heartbeats for connection loss detection to automatically restore the connection to BitMEX server in case of temporary connection loss.
    • Use Show Error pop-up alert to receive alerts.
  3. In the Requests section check Open Interest for futures to increase the frequency of requests based on the Once every X seconds value.
Increasing the frequency may lead to exceeding the BitMEX request limit.
