==Understanding Desktops==

A Desktop is ~~basically an organizational tool, it helps to specify overall settings for the~~ workspaces ~~and the overall look of~~ MultiCharts.

A Desktop is a set of workspaces in one MultiCharts window. If you have a multi-monitor setup, you can save MultiCharts window layout on every monitor as a desktop and then when you launch MultiCharts next time just open a bunch of desktop files (you can open multiple files at once by selecting them all and pressing Enter) to get your setup back.

~~Desktop is the state of your Main Window that includes:~~

* position and status (enabled/disabled) of the Main Window Toolbars;

* the list of the opened workspaces;

* position of the Main Window on ~~the~~ monitor ~~screen.~~
