Charting is one of the most important aspects of trading software. It helps traders to visualize past price movements, understand market sentiment, and predict future price actions. By mastering various chart types, components, technical indicators, and chart patterns, traders can develop strategies to enhance their trading performance.

How to create a chart
- Open a new Chart window:
- In the main MultiCharts window go to File → New → Chart Window.
- Choose the desired instrument from the list on the Instrument tab or add symbol from the data source.
- Choose the necessary Chart Type and Settings in the Settings tab:
- Customize your chart appearance in the Style and Scaling tabs:
- Click OK.
After that you can add the desired Drawings and Studies via Insert → Drawing/Study.
