Ruler drawing tool is used to measure and visualize the distance between two points on a chart.
Inserting Ruler
- In the menu select Insert, point to Drawing and click Ruler
- The cursor will change into a pencil
. - In the chart area select where the Ruler is to be placed.
Formatting Ruler
To format Ruler drawing use on of the following methods:
- Drag the cursor to the Ruler drawing instance that is to be formatted.
The cursor Pointer
will change into Hand 
, then double-click. - Drag the cursor to the Ruler drawing instance that is to be formatted.
The cursor Pointer will change into Hand , then right-click.
Select Format Ruler from the shortcut menu.
