To access historical and real-time market data and execute trades, you need to connect to your data source and broker.

In MultiCharts broker and data feed connections are separate. Connection to the data provider needs to be set up in QuoteManager, while the broker connection should be configured in MultiCharts itself.

Data Feed Connection

To connect your data vendor, please follow this instruction:

  1. Open QuoteManager via File → New → QuoteManager Window.
  2. In QuoteManager go to ToolsData Sources.
  3. Select the necessary data feed and click the Settings. The configuration window will open.

Broker Profile Connection

To connect a new broker profile, please follow this instruction:

  1. In the main menu select File.
  2. Point to Broker Profiles.
  3. Click Manage Broker Profiles.
  4. Click New and select the broker you’d like to connect. The configuration window will open.
