Time and Sales data is used by professional traders to track detailed price movements. It displays each trade as it happens, including the exact price and whether the trade occurred at the bid or ask price. This data helps identify whether buyers or sellers dominate the market and at what prices.
How to Use Time and Sales
- Open a new Time and Sales window by one of following methods:
- Click the New Time and Sales Window icon
on the Main toolbar. - In the main menu select File, then point to New and click Time & Sales Window.
- Click the New Time and Sales Window icon
- Select the desired instrument:
- Type the symbol name into the Instrument Selector field and press Enter.
- Click on the Lookup button
to select the necessary symbol from the database.
